Rising Freshman Forum

On April 30th Weston High School will once again host our Rising Freshman Forum, mandatory for current 8th graders. We welcome Liz Jorgenson from Insight Counseling as our keynote speaker and appreciate our partnership with Weston’s Alcohol and Drug Awareness Program (ADAP) in coordinating this event. We will also welcome our School Resource Officers as well as Josh Flaherty from Adventure Recovery and facilitator of the monthly student ADAP meeting which takes place at the Weston Public Library. Given that we have a large auditorium, we invite families from any grade to join us on this night to hear the wise insight from the folks who specialize in the areas of substance use, addiction, choices, recovery and counseling support.
